municipalities and is home to330,000 people. It caters to many interests
to its residents and visitors such as tourism, fine dining, and cultural events.
The downtown district mainly comprises of bank and government buildings but
offers a variety of places to shop such as the Victoria Eaton Centre, Fort
Street, and China Town. Victoria is a walkers paradise - many amenities
are within walking distance and you may want to take a leisurely stroll through
James Bay and look at the character homes or walk through the Songhees and watch
the changing action of the harbour. Beacon Hill Park is another draw to
the area and boasts 88 hectares of lush green outdoors to be enjoyed year-round.
